Our application for tax-exempt status as a 501 (c) (3) religous organization is pending, so we can receive cash and in-kind donations and will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes. Thank you so much!

You can find us near the Chicago Public Library downtown Friday mornings at this point. You are most welcome to join us to come meet some of the wonderful people we know. We would love to have more folks available to offer sandwiches and water, conversation, and a nice smile, a handshake or a pat on the shoulder to the good people whom we call friends.

We welcome folks from all spiritual traditions or none to walk with us and serve the homeless population. Open Cathedral is a presence, not a place; it's church, temple, mosque without walls or litmus tests. Because we celebrate and respect all persons, proselyltization is not permitted. So come join the dance!!
